South Point Hotel Review
By: Las Vegas Hotel Sleuth

You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into the Mediterranean—by way of California—when you arrive at the South Point Hotel (formerly South Coast) in Las Vegas.
Appearance
One of the newest resorts in town, South Point is unique in its bright and open décor. Accommodations are large and elegantly appointed, offering all the luxurious amenities you could want—including a 42” plasma screen TV in every room! You can keep that Pacific coast vibe going by taking a dip in the pool, or joining in a game at the sand volleyball court.
Entertainment
Take the pressure off with a massage at the Spa Costa Del Sur, or get in a good workout at the onsite Health Club. For some family fun, hit the lanes at the 64-lane bowling center, catch the hottest flicks at the16-screen Century Movie Theatre, or give the kids some quarters and let them have some fun at the arcade.
South Point also boasts an impressive nightlife—dance til morning at the hippest new nightclub in town, Fever, or catch a show in the Del Mar Lounge or the Showroom. Also, unique in Las Vegas, South Point features a 4,400-seat Equestrian Arena—here, even the horses get a vacation, with individually air-conditioned and spacious stalls!
Dining
South Point prides itself on its restaurant selection, and you can see why! Whatever delectable options are on your menu, from the all-you-can-eat tastiness of the Garden Buffet to the more refined cuisine of the Silverado Steakhouse, you’ll never have to worry about going hungry.
Other edibles can be found at the 24-hour Coronado Café, the Big Sur Oyster Bar, the Del Mar Deli, Don Vito's, Kate's Korner, and Seattle's Best Coffee House.
Gambling
In contrast to most Vegas casinos, the gaming floor at the South Point Hotel is more open, more airy—and quite possibly, more fun.
This 80,000 square foot casino houses over 2,400 of your favorite Slots and Video Poker machines, along with 60-plus tables, featuring Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and more. There’s also a rollicking Bingo Hall, a comfortable Poker Room, and a huge 300-seat Race and Sports Book, all waiting for your wagers!
Personal & Business Events
Once you’ve experienced South Point for yourself, you’ll want to share it with everyone else! The perfect venue for any event, South Point features 150,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, including an 80,000-square-foot pillar-less exhibit hall. Let their wide range of amenities and friendly hospitality indulge your convention attendees or banquet guests in a true Vegas experience.
