Barbary Coast Hotel Review
By: Las Vegas Hotel Sleuth

If you’re looking for intimate hotel lodging in the heart of the Vegas strip, look no further than Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon (formerly Barbary Coast Hotel) in Las Vegas.
One of the Strip’s smaller hotels, Bill’s provides its visitors with personal service and charm, and boasts one of the hottest nightclubs in Vegas!
Appearance
From the moment you walk into Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon, it’s a different experience than most of the other hotels you’ll see in Las Vegas, Nevada. Located on the prime real estate corner across from The Flamingo and surrounded on the other three corners by Caesar’s Palace, Bally's, and the Bellagio, Bill’s either has what you’re looking for, or it’s within walking distance.
Dining
When you get that hungry feeling, Bill’s isn’t short on good food. The Steakhouse at Bill’s is the perfect place for a romantic meal in a relaxed atmosphere, and the Victorian Room offers 24-hour friendly service and features all your classic favorites.
The nightlife is the hot ticket at Bill’s if you’re looking to rub elbows with the in crowd or maybe spot a celebrity, number one on your to-do list should be a visit Drai’s. Victor Drai, world renowned restaurateur, has created a new nightclub that everyone wants to be seen in and that may very well make this little hotel “the place to be.”
Gambling
With just less than 200 spacious rooms, Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon (formerly Barbary Coast Hotel) is one of the smallest on the Strip. For its guests, this is a definite advantage, as each visitor receives personal attention and superb service.
There’s plenty of casino action though, and you can find all the requisite gaming attractions in their 30,000-square-foot casino. Blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker are all available for a little wager, or if tables aren’t your game, there are also 650 slot machines for your gambling pleasure. Bill’s also features an 82-seat race and sports book with forty 42-inch plasma screen TVs.
Rates
Prices start at $69 and can go up to around $179, making Bill’s one of the cheapest hotels on the Strip. Prices do NOT reflect quality in this case, and if you want to experience one of Las Vegas’ best secrets, book a reservation for a stay at Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon (formerly Barbary Coast Hotel) in Las Vegas.
